Testimonials
Stayed two nights as part of a Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour. Walking distance to Mahabodi Temple and several other temples..such as Sri Lankan, Japanese ,Thai etc..The staff were friendly and helpful. Good food even though it was mostly the same.. Clean and comfortable rooms.. We felt our tour company had chosen the best hotel to stay in Bodhgaya. We may stay here again in our next visit.
We were greeted and treated like family - even though it was our first stay. The staff could not have done more for us...they were kind, friendly, helpful and cheerful. The aim of the staff was simply to please, to make our stay enjoyable. They did this indeed!..
Rooms are extra large. The building is a bit old and bathroom is not the best. You need to pay for Wifi available only at the lobby area. But the location was superb and staff was excellent. Especially the manger Mr Gupta. He made sure the food was for our liking and personally went to the kitchen and made some dishes to our taste......
This was located very close to the Lotus Nikko Hotels. Smal Museum But carries a lot of items found in the archeological surveys. Description of the items were adequate.
There r many small hotels & guest houses in Bodhgaya. But there are only two good hotels ie Hotel Lotus Nikko & Hotel Royal Residency.Property wise ,Royal residency is a better but location wise Lotus nikko is the best option. Since main aim of the people to this place is Pilgrimage so they always prefer to stay near mahabodhi temple.
We stayed at the Lotus Nikko in Kushinagar and in Sravasti. The hotel in Sravasti was much better than the Kushinagar location. The Lotus Nikko in Kushinagar had huge rooms. The room was clean. Hotel staff were friendly. Location was good. But the food was mediocre and the price of the hotel was extremely expensive.
